NEBE: EPRDF wins 4th National Elections

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) announced that the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) won the 4th national elections which took place on 23, May 2010.
NEBE Chairman, Prof. Merga Bekana said that EPRDF won 499 seats. Two seats were won by the Ethiopian Federal Democratic Unity Forum (Medrek) and an independent candidate.
The election was conducted in a peaceful, credible, fair, free, and democratic manner with high voter turnout, he added.
